Upcoming Summer Events

Here are some events coming soon to this area.
The Marten River Volunteer Fire Department is having their annual pancake and sausage breakfast on Sunday, July 3rd, 8:30 - 11 am., at the Rock Pine Restaurant.
On Sunday July 24th, the 4th annual pork barbecue will be held at the Marten River Fire Hall from 5:00 to 7:00 pm.
The annual Fire Department's community yard and bake sale will be held at the Marten River Fire Hall from 7:30 am. to 12:30 pm. Please donate your gently used items or call Ken at 892-2396 to rent a table.
The fire department thanks everyone for their support and hopes to see everyone out having a good time at these events.

I want to remind everyone of the annual Lumberjack day at the Marten River Provincial Park on Sat. July 16th and the pancake breakfast on Sun. July 17th. It's a fun day for all with contests for kids and adults and a logger's lunch available. Come and see our heritage and history.
